One issue that some folks have with the design of the Nintendo Switch is that the system cannot be charged when it’s resting on a surface in tabletop mode. This is due to its USB-C charging port being located at the bottom of the unit. But, now there’s a neat solution for this.
Nintendo has just released an official adjustable charging stand for the Switch. It’s pretty small, so carrying it around shouldn’t be a problem if you regularly find yourself playing in tabletop mode. The way it works is pretty simple: you plug the tiny stand into the Switch’s USB-C port, rest it down on the table and then plug a USB-C charger into the stand itself. Of course, Nintendo recommends you use the official Switch AC adapter, but you can use other USB-C chargers if need be (just exercise caution).
The new Switch Charging Stand is available now for $19.96. You can grab it here from Nintendo’s Amazon storefront.
