As if there isn’t enough Pokémon merchandise out there already! Now Pokémon Funko Pops are coming to a store near you.
This week, a Reddit user discovered a Pikachu Funko Pop at his local Target. He, of course, had to share this and posted it on the popular site. This story first broke via Nintendo Life.
The user also stated this was not even supposed to have shown up on store shelves yet. Oops? I feel bad for the poor employee who mistakenly put it out. There have indeed been rumors about a Pokémon line in the works but today is the first time we have physical proof. Following this accidental reveal, Funko officially announced the figure via Twitter:

What are your thoughts about Pokémon Funkos? Will you be grabbing one?
I know I certainly wouldn’t mind a Squirtle or a Charmander — better yet, a Mewtwo. This one looks extremely cute so it will definitely sell and sell fast. So far it seems to be just Pikachu, but hopefully others will be made.
Stay tuned though, Pokémon fans — we may soon be able to add these to our own collections!
