The Nintendo Switch has been selling very well all over the world since it launched last year. But, its performance in its home territory of Japan has been particularly notable. The system has been topping weekly charts for some time now, and that trend continues in the latest report from Media Create.
According to this report, Switch sales are far to the top, well outpacing its biggest competition the PS4. Speaking of which, PS4 sales have been noticeably slowing down in Japan over the last few months aside from a few spikes here and there. This is likely due to the system getting up in years. It must also be noted that with the Switch being a hybrid system and Japanese gamers preferring portable consoles over home consoles, this is all helped the Switch stay at the top.
