It’s no secret that Nintendo Switch is selling incredibly well. The system is a success for sure, but its sales in different regions are strikingly high. Take the most recent example, from Germany, per Daan Koopman.
Nintendo Switch sold 650,000 units in its first year on the market in Germany, which is higher than what Nintendo Wii did. Given how many overall units the Wii sold, comparing the two shows just how successfull Switch has the potential to become.
As we see what Nintendo has planned for the console’s future, sales won’t be stopping any time soon. Super Smash Bros. was recently confirmed to release this year, and other huge titles like Pokemon and Metroid Prime 4 are on the horizon.
