Creating virtual avatars has been a thing for quite some time, but Nintendo made quite a big hit back in 2006 with the introduction of Miis on the original Wii. Since the console was such a huge seller, these avatars ended up taking off in popularity by association. Millions of people all over the world ended up listening to the theme music of the Mii Channel where those avatars were created.
Students playing pranks on their teachers also isn’t new, but one orchestra class decided to prank their director in the most classy way ever: by playing the aforementioned Mii Channel theme. They were supposed to be practicing another song, but played the full Mii Channell theme instead, and rather well if I may add. See for yourself:

If only all pranks were this elaborate and classical. Oh well, these guys did such a good job that even their director was pleasantly surprised by it instead of getting upset like you might expect. It’s great that he was such a good sport!
Having been introduced to video games at the age of 3 via a Nintendo 64, A.K has grown up in the culture. A fan of simulators and racers, with a soft spot for Nintendo! But, he has a great respect for the entire video game world and enjoys watching it all expand as a whole.
