The incredibly-popular Rocket League blasted onto the Nintendo Switch last month. The game was first announced to be coming to the system back in July during Nintendo’s E3 2017 presentation. The announcement was quite a surprise to many. It looks like European Switch owners, in particular, were very excited for the game. Nintendo recently released a chart for the European Switch eShop, which details the best-selling titles for the month of November 2017. Rocket League surprisingly took the number one spot.
Yes, the game is popular, as mentioned, but this is still quite an achievement (and this is before the confirmed physical edition hits shelves). It makes you wonder how well the game will sell on the Switch overall. Several indie developers have reported great success on the Switch so far, so seeing that Psyonix has such a huge game on its hands, things should turn out quite similarly. Regardless, the team must no doubt already be happy to see this!
