Today we’re going to restart a forgotten article series, in which we ask you, the community, your opinion on some topic, and then publish your responses the next week, along with a new topic.
The topic of today is ARMS. It’s been now nearly a full month since the release of ARMS on the Nintendo Switch, and we’ve just gotten our first bit of free post-launch content with a new character, Max Brass. To those of you that have been playing the game since launch: How are you liking it so far? Do you wish some things were different, or do you just want more content to keep you coming back to the game? Are you still playing it regularly, and do you see yourself playing it even after Splatoon 2 launches?
Personally I felt frustrated with the game initially, as I just couldn’t understand how to play effectively against either the computer or in ranked mode. But suddenly something clicked, and I started loving every minute of it, either against randoms online or with friends in party mode. I haven’t gotten to play it as much as it deserves, but I know I will keep playing it at least once in a while with friends throughout the rest of the year, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the ranked bug bites me and keeps me hitting that “search for match” button over and over again.
But let us know what your own thoughts are! We will be collecting answers from this article’s comment section, the accompanying post on Facebook, and our own message forums. See you next week!
