While the Switch has been seeing lots of Japanese developers jump on board with main IP’s and games on Nintendo’s latest console, Western developers have been a bit more hesitant jumping on the bandwagon. After the flop of the Wii U, this cautious attitude is probably somewhat warranted, but many Switch owners are hoping that they can get more Western multiplatform games on the console.
Call of Duty: World War II is one of the game that Switch owners would probably enjoy checking out, so is it coming to the Switch? Possibly. Beenox has worked on ports of Call of Duty games to other platforms before, and there are rumors circulating that they could be involved in bringing World War II to the Switch.
When asked about this, Beenox DID confirm they are working on something involving World War II, but due to NDA could not discuss if it was a Nintendo Switch version of the game.
