Yinyamina and Trexrell have announced a stretch goal for the Wii U for their first project Celestial Tear: Demon\’s Revenge. The game will come to the Wii U, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Vita, and mobile platforms if it raises $40,000 in funding.
Unfortunately, reaching the goal is looking less and less likely with each passing day. Currently, the game has raised just $1,600 of its $12,000 goal with just 20 days to go in the campaign.
Even if the game fails to meet its goal, it could still see release one day. Many companies with failed Kickstarters move on to find a publisher and eventually publish their game in its entirety.
A Wii U port is also not doomed if the stretch goal is not met. Many developers often wait for revenue from the PC title of the game and port to the other consoles regardless of the initial goal.
