Level 5 is clearly onto a winner with their latest intellectual property, Yo-Kai Watch. We’ve seen over recent weeks how the first game still continues to keep a firm grasp upon on the top of the Japanese sales charts each week, so it came as no surprise when they announced a couple weeks ago they were working on a follow-up.

This new game will see two versions released, similar to every main-line Pokemon release, and although the game is yet to be released. Pre-orders for the game have taken the top two spots on Amazon Japan’s pre-order charts.

Both versions of the game will be released on the 10th July 2014. Level 5 have yet to confirm plans to bring the series to western audiences, but based on past successes such as Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven it wouldn’t be a huge ask.
