It seems like a large outlet has finally recognized the Wii U for the amazing value that it is. Every year, the Cyber Week Awards recognizes the best value of gifts for the holiday season. This year, the Wii U took home an award. In the “toys” category, the Wii U ranked 3rd, being only beat by Rainbow Loom and Lego Building Blocks. The Wii U beat out a roster of tough competition, including Disney Infinity, Skylanders: Swap Force, American Girl, Barbie, and Nerf.

It seems that finally the Wii U has gotten recognition for being one of the more affordable holiday options for gifting children.

Unfortunately, the Wii U didn’t perform as well in the “video games” category. Although also coming in third, the Wii U was beat out by both the Xbox One and the PS4.

What are your thoughts on the results? Would you say the high ranking in the “toy” category was well deserved? Had you hoped the Wii U would have ranked higher in the “video game” category? Make sure to let us know your thoughts below!
