Multiple reports have been coming in throughout the week that Toys R Us is holding an in-store clearance event for Wii U games, with all Wii U games at incredibly low prices. Today, developer RCMADIAX posted a tweet with a picture of his receipt verifying these reports.

Drop what your doing and run to @ToysRUs! W101 $12, SplinterCell $16, AC4 $24 COD BlkOps $24 60% off clearance!

— RCMADIAX (@rcmadiax) April 18, 2014

It seems like many Wii U games are selling for at least 60% off. Some notable games include The Wonderful 101 for only $12, Splinter Cell: Blacklist for $16, and Assassin\’s Creed 4 for $24. Accessories also seem to be on sale during this sale event.

After making some quick phone calls, it seems like nearly every Toys R Us store is holding a similar \”green tag\” event.  If you have been thinking about grabbing a 3rd party game for Wii U, which seems to be the targeted type of game for this event, make sure to head down to your local Toys R Us to grab some of these bargains!
