Lunar Ray Games, the developer behind the Kickstarter title Timespinner, has announced that the game could see possibly eventual release on Nintendo platforms. Although the developers would love to port the title to Nintendo consoles, they are unsure whether the engine (XNA/Monogome) is capable of running on the 3DS and Wii U.

“Wii U and 3DS: Maybe? Unfortunately, it is unclear whether will be able to port to the Wii U or 3DS. Timespinner is written in XNA/Monogame and there is no hard evidence that Monogame can port to these platforms. There are some articles online from October 2013 that say that this will be possible, yes, but according to the Monogame community, there is no confirmation of this happening. I would LOVE to be proven wrong on this, however!”

Timespinner has already raised $23,000 of its original $50,000 goal with 29 days still left to go in the campaign. For more information on Timespinner, make sure to check the official Kickstarter page!
