EKO Software originally revealed that their survival horror action RPG would be coming to the Wii U eShop shortly after E3 last year. Despite a few small titbits of news regarding how the Wii U version was going to be missing out on several features seen in the versions hitting other consoles, news about this intriguing game has been anything but forthcoming. That was until today, when the developer was asked what was happening with the title, to which they replied that they \”hope to have good news for you all soon\”.

@MATT81DE we are working to get it out there and we hope to have good news for you all soon!

How to Survive is played from an isometric view, and features two distinct modes, Story & Challenge. Story mode puts you on one of four islands in an archipeligo as one of three survivors. You\’re not alone, as you have a fellow Survivor, Andrew who has already suffered a zombie bite. Challenge mode puts you on an island, while your escape vehicle is on the other side. Your mission is to search for materials, build weapons, and make it to the vehicle to escape the island. Neither challenge or story are timed, you may take as long as you want to complete them.
