A game no one liked gets a sequel.

Shaq-Fu is commonly mentioned in sentences with games like E.T. on Atari, Robocop on Xbox, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on NES. These games were all terrible and generally considered some of the worst games ever. Yet, Shaq-Fu has a following evidently because with less then 5 hours left, the sequel Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn has reached its funding of $450,000 it was asking for.

Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn strays away from the 1 on 1 fighting of the first game, and instead focuses more on a classic beat-em-up style of games such as Double Dragon and Streets of Rage, with a high emphasis on combos. The team behind the game, Big Deez Productions, promises to make Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn an \”instant classic\”.

Do you have any interest in the project? There is still time left to pledge and get some cool rewards.
