Who doesn’t love a good tease?

Jools Whatsham is at it again, this time teasing “stellar news” for this coming Friday 9th May. The last time the Renegade Kid Founder teased news was the reveal of the Kickstarter campaign for Cult County after it switched from 3DS to all current and new generation consoles.

Cult County‘s Kickstarter sadly failed to reach it’s base goal despite later adding the 3DS as a base platform after it was removed. Since the campaign ended, Renegade Kid have revealed they have started work on a new experimental game for the 3DS eShop. No further details have been released except the vague hint that the game will feature “pixels and stuff. no cults.”.

Renegade Kid’s next game is the Nintendo 3DS eShop exclusive episodic first person shooter, Moon Chronicles. Moon Chronicles is a remasterd version of their award winninng DS game Moon. Rebuilt from the ground up, the game features enhanced graphics, intuitive touch screen controls and even runs at 60fps – even with the 3D turned on! Moon Chronicles is expected to release in the next couple of weeks.
