The ultimate driver journey

Slightly Mad Studios has released its first official trailer showcasing Project Cars\’ gorgeous and intense racing flare.

Project Cars enables you to create your own driver and choose from a wide selection of motorsports. Online multiplayer will have racers putting their skills to the test either in competitive race weekends, leaderboard-based time challenges, or continually-updated community events.

The game is set to featuring world-class graphics, precise handling (especially on the Wii U), an amazing dynamic time of day & weather system, and deep tuning & pit stop functionality. While the footage you see above is purely footage from the PC version of the game, the game\’s creative director, Andy Tudor, assured to us in an interview that the Wii U version, so far, \”held up pretty damn well\”.

Also, after being overtaken in popularity by Steam OS, The Wii U version has now taken back its position in Slightly Mad\’s official poll asking which platform its fans are most looking forward to playing the game on. Once again, this is in no way indicative of what the sales distribution of the game will be when it releases on all platforms, but it\’s nice to know that there\’s interest in the Wii U version.

Project Cars will be arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Steam OS & WiiU beginning November 2014.
