Project CARS, an acronym for “Community Assisted Racing Simulator”, has been delayed on the Wii U. The game will still come to other consoles this November, but the game will only launch on the Wii U next year in 2015.

“We’re committed to delivering an exceptional and unique experience for racing fans on Wii U and for this we kindly ask our devoted and passionate Nintendo fans for a little more time in order to ensure the game delivers on our vision of being the most authentic, beautiful, and technically-advanced racing game on any platform.”

This news would explain the absence of Wii U gameplay videos for Project CARS, but it is still disheartening to see yet another title delayed for the Wii U. Do you think this extra time could allow the team to create gamepad-specific features for the game? Make sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
