The Pokemon Company have announced that they have partnered with videogame streaming service Twitch to live stream the Pokemon US National Championhip and the Pokemon World Championships taking place in July.

The Championships will be taking place between July 4th and 6th in Indianapolis, Indiana where as the Pokemon World Championships will be held on August 16th & 17th in Washington DC. The latter has been confirmed to feature two days of coverage from both Pokemon X & Y but also The Official Pokemon Trading Card Game. Both events will be streamed live for free, fans can follow the action from both events here.

Sunday, July 6, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. EDT: Pokémon TCG Top Cut and Finals

Competitors and fans who attend the Championships can recieve a special Shiny Mamoswine for their copy of Pokemon X or Y. This powerful Pokemon is very similar to the Mamoswine used by last year\’s champion, Arash Omatti from Italy. The Pokemon in question will arrive already at level 50, and has already learned the Thick Fat Ability as well as holding a Choice Scarf Item.
