Nintendo Switch pre-orders have been sold out for several weeks now. As with most console launches, the Switch will likely sell through its shipment completely at launch. Games, however, are usually in ample supply through launch. It may seem like Zelda hype is surpassing stock in some places. Currently, Gamestop’s website lists the Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild pre-orders as completely sold out. Gamers can still pre-order the digital version of the title, but those looking for a box and game card will have to look at another retailer.

Are you surprised by this development? Do you think Nintendo will refill stock at this retailer or will it go out of stock at other retailers as well? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
