It has emerged that the developer behind Fit Music for the Wii U eShop has been adding questionable praise to the Wii U community for it\’s own game.

The following screens show the Miiverse profile, for one Mario Spiniello. At first everything looks as you might expect, including location, birthday and game experience. The most recent comments by this user are then visible and have been posted in the Fit Music community. The comments are all the same in nature, praising the game and also talking down any negative comments, even calling one person\’s negative comments \”stuipid posts\”. After a little bit of detective work over at neogaf, the Facebook profile for Mario Spiniello has been found.

\"spinelloqhsxx\"In the below photo we can see confirmation of the same name, as well as job title and description. Mario works as a \”production manager\” and is a multimedia specialist who deals with all graphic aspects of projects at his place of work. This sounds fair enough, until you see that his email address is for Oxygen Media, the team behind the game he has been posting these comments about.

\"spinello26ws6f\"This certainly seems very untoward. What do you think to this troubling news? Let us know in the comments below!

I’m the Developer Liaison at Nintendo Enthusiast, and when I’m not working my butt off at the toy store I manage, I’m talking with developers from around the world, promoting crowd-funding campaigns, conducting interviews and also offering advice and support to developers looking to bring their games to Wii U & 3DS.
