This morning, Nintendo of America tweeted out a very revealing infographic about their upcoming releases on the Wii U through the end of 2014 and into 2015.

In short, there are a few very key pieces of news to take from this infographic. First off, Xenoblade Chronicles X, which was originally slated for release before the end of Nintendo’s fiscal year (March 2015), is actually pushed back to later in 2015. We also know that Splatoon, Yoshi’s Woolly World, Mario Maker, and Project Giant Robot are all slated for release in the first half of 2015. This introduces two further pieces of news into the mix. First off, it seems like Nintendo has new releases planned for nearly each and every month of 2015. Also, although it was first assumed that Project Giant Robot and Project Guard were simple prototypes not intended to be entire games, it seems like these will titles will actually end up being full releases.

Lastly, it is important to point out the two titles that are absent from the infographic. Both Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, as well as Mario vs. Donkey Kong do not appear anywhere on this release timetable. Hopefully Nintendo will update us on the status of those two titles sooner rather than later.
