Devil\’s Third doesn\’t seem like a game that would land on the Wii U as a console exclusive, but the long relationship between director Mr. Itagaki (developer/creator) and Nintendo proved strong when the original publisher of the game, THQ, went out of business. Today some more information was revealed about the upcoming game, and the new information should please those looking forward to the game.
Mr. Itagaki revealed in a recent interview that first and foremost, the Wii U GamePad would be a primary focus with the game.
It is our policy to make full use of the hardware’s characteristics. I’m currently thinking along the lines of having something other than having you press down on the Wii U GamePad, and something that will make you say, ‘Oh, I see!\’
Devil\’s Third will also feature a robust multiplayer online experience that will contain up to 16 players at once. Mr. Itagaki also wants to include elements with the online pay that people have never seen before. The single player has you starting as a low level citizen with basic weapons who becomes powerful in the ranks. From iron pipes to pistols will start you out, but as you progress you can become a one man war machine or build your own organization to fight with you. Devil\’s Third is shaping up to be a most-own title for Wii U owners.
