This morning during its latest Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that a brand new demo is coming for Bravely Default next month, January 2, 2014, to North America. Apparently, the demo is quite extensive, but what really sets it apart from other demos is that apparently the demo mission isn’t in the full game. In fact, the demo mission is a whole separate mission from the game, but is still absolutely free to try.

For those who don’t know, Bravely Default originally came out to Japan earlier this year, and came out to Europe a few weeks ago, unfortunately North America has had to wait until 2014 to play the game. The game is an RPG, a spiritual sequel to Final Fantasy: Four Heroes of Light for the original Nintendo DS.
