The release dates for many of the upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles have apparently been outed by Walmart on their respective preorder pages. While these could just be placeholder dates, many of these dates don’t seem to be too far off considering the facts, however, you guys can decide that for yourselves.

To reel them off according to the product pages of the upcoming Wii U games, PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures for Wii U will be releasing in September of 2013, Shin Megami Tensi/Fire Emblem and Yarn Yoshi will be releasing in December of 2013, Super Mario 3D World, The The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Wii Party U, and the next The Legend of Zelda (dubbed Zelda 2 (RPG) by Walmart, will be releasing in Q4 2013, and Mario Kart 8 along with Monolith Soft’s Untitled New Wii U Title (Interestingly dubbed Xenoblade (Wii U) by Walmart) will be releasing in March of 2014.

For 3DS, since many announced games have already gotten their release dates confirmed, the only apparently outed release dates were Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy for December 2014 and Mario Gold World Tour for Q2 of 2013 (with this one in particularly already being incorrect).

While Wind Waker HD and Wii Party U have already been confirmed to be releasing in October of 2013 and while Super Mario 3D World has already been confirmed to be releasing in December of 2013, the fact that Walmart lists these games as Q4 2013 helps to add some credibility to these claims.

With a couple Nintendo Directs airing soon, some before and some after the end of the year, it is possible that we could get more information about these games sooner than later. At any rate, however, we’ll be sure to update you on this story when more information becomes readily available.

What do you think about some of these release dates? Too early to be true? Too late to be true? Let us know in the comment section below, but if one things for sure, if the next Legend of Zelda is going to be ready for Christmas Holiday, I’d see Nintendo pretty much has the end of 2013 booked.
