The latest Media Create sales are in, and mark the first full week of 2014 that Japanese game data has been tracked. 3DS software took seven out of the top ten places, with Kirby: Triple Deluxe taking first place with 215,000 units. Super Mario 3D World managed to hang in the top ten, making a ninth place appearance on the weekly chart.

Unfortunately, all hardware across the board saw sharp decline since the last week. The Wii U, which stood at 73,000 units previously, saw a very sharp decline down to 14,000. The 3DS saw a decline from roughly 200,000 to 60,000 units week-over-week. Obviously these numbers come immediately after the holiday season, so that may be an influential factor on the low data for all the consoles.
