Some interesting news is coming out from those who happened to get a hold of Mario Kart 8 early. Although it is by no means unexpected, as Nintendo has been content ID-ing most Nintendo videos in the past few months, it turns out that any user-uploaded Youtube videos for Mario Kart 8 will be content ID’d as well.

WOW, apparently when you upload Mario Kart 8 videos with that new MKTV application, all the videos immediately get Content ID’d. I can’t.

It seems like Nintendo has a back up plan in place just in case Mario Kart 8 does not sell to expectations, as many people are sure to upload their user-created content to Youtube.
