Spidey dragged down to No. 3
This week’s chart stats are not looking good for Nintendo again. It’s Mario Golf: World Tour’s second week on the market in the UK and it’s barely managing to hang in the top forty.
On the individual charts, we see Nintendo’s latest golfing game at 35th and on the all-format charts, it’s placed at 37th. Additionally, just like last week, the Wii U is still nowhere to be found, and frankly, there’s little reason to expect it to resurface on the charts.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 debuted at No. 1 last week, but has since been pulled down to to No. 3 by Titanfall, which has regained the top stop this week. With the lack of big new releases, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has managed to climb two places to No. 4 on the list while 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil has slid down a bit to No. 5, just ahead of Call of Duty: Ghosts, which ranks No. 6 on the charts. The Lego Movie Videogame, which is a third party game that at least manages to chart in the individual Wii U and 3DS specific charts, climbed up position No. 7 while Battlefield 4 moved up a bit to No. 8.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Conception II launch in the UK this week so hopefully they’re able to give Nintendo a presence in the UK software charts next week.
