Last chance to go rupee hunting for free

Thanks to the critical and sales success of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Nintendo is now commemorating the milestone and all things Hyrulian with a limited time offer. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition is available free of change on the Nintendo 3DS eShop…right now!

\”The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition is a special commemorative version of the 2003 Game Boy Advance release. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & Four Swords. In it, You\’ll Embark on an exciting multiplayer adventure filled with action and puzzles as you work to save princess Zelda from the evil Vaati.

You can play with up to four friends at once. As long as each player has a copy of the game installed on their Nintendo 3DS system.\”

All you need to do is visit the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo 3DS family system from Thursday, January 30th, at 9 AM (PST) until Sunday, February 2, at 11:59 PM (PST) to download this arguably satisfying adventure. Grab it while you can, because when the offer ends, it might be a while before you see the game again in Nintendo eShop again. The last time Nintendo released the game in the Nintendo eShop for free was back in 2011, when Nintendo was celebrating The Legend of Zelda franchise\’s anniversary with Skyward Sword.

While the option to download the game will be removed immediately after the deadline, you will still be able to continue the celebration by purchase (yeah, not free) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past from Nintendo Wii U eShop or by participating in the special Art Academy SketchPad event in Miiverse.
