Today, Activision announced a new Legend of Korra game for the 3DS. Contrary to its console counterpart, which is developed by Bayonetta 2 developer Platinum Games, the 3DS version of the game is developed by Webfoot Technologies. The studio has already developed several games on the DS and 3DS platforms and more information can be found about the developers on their official website.

The story of the Legend of Korra game will take place between the Legend of Kora’s second and third seasons and is being written by Tim Hendrick. Additionally, as opposed to the 3 vs 3 arena gameplay in the console versions, the 3DS version is going to be a turn-based strategy game where players will “focus on tactically maneuvering Korra and her allies on the battlefield.”

The Legend of Korra is set to release before the end of the year, but no specific date or price has yet been announced by Activision. Are you interested in this anime-inspired title? Make sure to let us know below!
