3DS joins the Wii U on the Kickstarter Train

With all of the announcements of Wii U crowd-funded games, it always felt like the 3DS was being left out in the cold. A small trickle of games have been announced via Kickstarter, and OMORI (yes, all caps) is the latest. Should you be interested in OMORI? See for yourself.

The game is an “psychological horror RPG, and reminds many of the Earthbound series with it’s visual style. The game is set to offer 8 dungeons, over 60 NPCs to interact with, all while traveling between two worlds each containing secrets. Which one is the real world? That’s for you to decide.

An interesting premise and art style help OMORI stand out from the crowd. The game is needing $180,000 for a 3DS version, and while that may seem like a lot, the game has already gotten over $70K and has 21 days left. Will you be pledging for OMORI? Check out the trailer and let us know in the comments, and visit their Kickstarter
