The Kickstarter campaign for one of the most exciting indie titles currently heading to Wii U has launched today and needs your support!

The game is off to a flying start, already raking up $20,000 in pledges towards their $38,000 base goal. But what of the Wii U version you ask? Well Midgar Studio have confirmed a Wii U stretch goal of $100,000 which based on the first day’s success isn’t outside the realms of possibility. The reason the stretch goal is much higher than the base platforms is that the team what to “exploit the unique features of the console”.

We are willing to adapt Hover on the Wii U in a special version that exploit the unique features of the console. Founding permitting, we would be able to have the time for the porting of this version and develop the local multiplayer concepts and the asymmetric gameplay it deserves.

All those innovations can be realized but requires time and financing support. We want to stay close to our community and keep our full creativity. Thats why Kickstarter poses itself as the best solution for Hover.

Come on people, if there’s ever a game which needs to come to Wii U to show the doubters how awesome a console it is, it’s this one! Just look at that new trailer…. *drool*….
