We reported back in April, that Alonso Martin’s Heart Forth Alicia, a 1990’s inspired Metroidvania RPG could be heading to Wii U. In the project’s thirteenth update, Martin has revealed stretch goals not just for a Wii U version, but also a handheld version for the 3DS family of systems.

Heart Forth Alicia’s story unfolds amidst repercussions of a centuries worth of war and bloodshed between different races. This epic Metroidvania RPG combines classic 16- and 32-bit gameplay with modern mechanics and a set of unique, intertwining stories to take the player on a fantastic journey.

The project at time of writing has already reached the $170,000 mark, so only needs an extra $30,000 for the Wii U version, but a futher $75,000 for the 3DS. There are eleven days of fundraising remaining so make sure you check out the campaign page and make your pledge. The Wii U version seems achievable, but if you want to see this stunning game on your 3DS you better put your wallets where your mouths are!
