Although Hyrule Warriors came out in Japan in the last week and reviewers including Famitsu gave the game very positive reviews, many players are reporting issues in their version of the game. Various Japanese players have taken to Twitter complaining about their game freezing on multiple occasions, including on the title screen, results screen, and while playing in co-op. Furthermore, several users have also reported that the frame rate during some parts of the game can drop to half of what it is normally.

We do not yet know whether these issues are widespread for all buyers of the game, or whether they are only limited to a small number of buyers. Nevertheless, Koei Tecmo is aware of the issues currently in the game and is already working on a patch to address those problems.

Hyrule Warriors releases in North America on Friday, September 26th. Leading up to the game’s release we will have a full review available.
