A couple months ago, Iwata made some comments during and investor’s meeting that many took as an implication of potential resignation. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, you might remember Iwata admitted that the was “strongly responsible” for the financial losses during the past 2 years, but did that mean that he was going to resign?

“I don’t recall saying I’d resign,” was the reply Satoru Iwata gave when asked at an investor’s meeting if he’d quit if he didn’t reach his previously noted financial target.

Mr. Iwata went on to stress the importance of focusing on achievement instead of too much on their failures. If this is an indication of anything, it sounds like Iwata is here to stay and generate more gifs.
