Today in Japan Tecmo-Koei revealed in their financial results summary that the tentatively titled Hyrule Warriors, or Zelda Musō as it’s know in Japan, will be released during the Summer.

Hyrule Warriors was announced as a Wii U exclusive mash up of The Legend of Zelda and the Dynasty Warriors series in a Nintendo Direct on December 18th 2013. The game is being developed by Tecmo-Koei who will also handle publishing duties in their home land whereas Nintendo will take care of the title in the west. There has currently been no announcement of tease as to when the game will see release in North America or Europe, but could possibly be announced during Nintendo’s Digital Event on June 9th 9am PT.

Tecmo-Koei’s CEO Yoichi Erikawa also revealed during their briefing in the same article that another large-scale collaboration will be released in the latter half of 2014. No further details such as who the collaboration is with and what platform(s) the game would see release on were revealed. Tecmo-Koei are not currently planning a booth for this years E3 in LA in June so we may have to wait a while longer before we find out about this title.
