I don’t even have a funny headline for this. Too weird.

We all know the rocky relationship between EA and Nintendo. When the Wii U was first announced, it appeared that EA was on board for a bunch of Wii U projects. Instead, after a paltry offering in the first few months, EA tucked tail and ran away from the Wii U. So it comes as a surprise that FIFA 15 is coming to a Nintendo console, besides the 3DS handheld. However, it’s not the console you would expect.

FIFA 15 is coming to the Wii. Yes, the Wii. According to an official press release by EA, FIFA 15 will be hitting the 3DS and Wii this September. Could this be a mistake, and the game is actually coming to the Wii U? It seems like it would make sense, considering that the Wii isn’t really pushing new software right now. With the relationship between Nintendo and EA though, it wouldn’t surprise me if this was on just the Wii.
