Little Orbit, the publisher behind Falling Skies: The Game, has announced a release date for the title. Falling Skies: The Game will be making its way onto the Wii U eShop on September 30th. Be wary, however, as even though Falling Skies is an eShop download, in a similar fashion to One Piece: Unlimited World Red the game will still be at a full retail price.

We\’re pleased to confirm the official release date of #FallingSkies: The Game is September 30th for 360, PS3, Wii U eShop and PC via Steam.

We had the opportunity to see Falling Skies at E3 in June and were not fans. In addition to the horrendous visuals and annoying voice acting, the gameplay itself was terrible as well. Unfortunately, this can be the case oftentimes with licensed titles such as this one.

Little Orbit is also the publisher behind games like How to Train Your Dragon. For more information on this publisher, make sure to check out their official website!
