Nintendo revealed that Bayonetta 1 would be receiving a special upgrade and release as a free-pack-in with Bayonetta 2 when the game launches exclusively on the Wii U this fall, during their Digital Event at E3 2014 last week.

It was first announced that Bayonetta 2 would feature a download code so that gamers would be able to download the game at their own leisure. It was then revealed two days ago, that the Japanese release would in stead come with the original game on a second disc. According to the product listing on Amazon.co.uk, it now appears that this could be the case with the European release as well.

The witching hour strikes again. Brimming with intricate battles that take place in, on, and all over epic set pieces, Bayonetta 2 finds our sassy heroine battling angels and demons in unearthly beautiful HD. You’re bound to love how it feels to string together combos with unimaginable weapons and summon demons using Bayonetta’s Umbran Weave in this frantic stylised action game. Bayonetta 2 is a Nintendo Wii U exclusive. Bayonetta comes packed in with the purchase of every retail packaged version of Bayonetta 2.
