EA has announced that it will be taking down the servers of more than 50 games beginning on June 30th. The statement mentions that at any given time, less than 1% of players are playing these older games; and as a result, it is no longer feasible to keep the servers open for the games.

There were no 3DS or Wii U games affected by this shutdown; however, several Wii and DS titles were. The full list of affected titles on Nintendo platforms follow:

  • Bejeweled (r) 2 for the Wii
  • Dracula – Undead Awakening for the Wii
  • FIFA Soccer 08 (KOR) for the Wii
  • GREEN DAY: ROCK BAND for the Wii
  • MySims Party for Wii
  • MySims SkyHeroes for the Wii and DS
  • SimCity Creator for Wii
  • Sneezies for the Wii
  • THE BEATLES: ROCK BAND for the Wii
  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 for Nintendo DS
  • Spore Hero Arena for Nintendo DS
  • Spore Creatures for Nintendo DS
  • Skate It for Nintendo DS
  • Need for Speed: Undercover for Nintendo DS
  • Need for Speed: ProStreet for Nintendo DS
  • MySims Racing for Nintendo DS
  • Madden NFL 09 for Nintendo DS
  • Madden NFL 08 for Nintendo DS
  • FIFA Street 3 for Nintendo DS
  • FIFA Soccer 10 for Nintendo DS
  • FIFA Soccer 09 for Nintendo DS
  • FIFA Soccer 08 for Nintendo DS
  • Dragon Sakura for Nintendo DS
