Nate Schmold, the developer of the Kick starter-funded Cosmochoria, has come out with a few new details regarding the release date of Cosmochoria on the Wii U. While the game will be coming to PC at the end of 2014, Cosmochoria will be releasing on the Wii U in early 2015. Schmold reiterated that the PC version was the priority at the moment; however, he will put full focus on the Wii U version once the PC build is done.

“I will be testing the Wii U starting this summer once I have a more stable build with some additional optimizations in place,” wrote Schmold. “Once the dev kit arrives I’ll be sharing / streaming the progress of my testing, but chances are I wont be able to fully focus on the Wii U dev until the game is mostly done, as I’d first need the full features of the game implemented before I can start tying things to the Wii U control schemes etc. Basically anything I do regarding the Wii U dev I’ll be sure to post about it, though – for those that are interested.

With an initial goal of $10,000, Cosmochoria raised nearly $30,000 in funding. For full details on the upcoming indie game, make sure to check out its Kickstarter!
