French indie-developer Bloomylight Studios have revealed that they are considering bringing their action-platform game, Lynn and the Spirits of Inao to the Wii U.

Lynn and the Spirits of Inao is inspired by the works of famous Studio Ghibli director and animator Hayao Miyazaki as well as Nintendo\’s own Shigeru Miyamoto. Miyamoto of course needs no introduction since you\’re reading this, but Miyazaki is responsible for Anime classics Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbour Totoro & Howl\’s Moving Castle.

In an enchanting world where humans and spirits live in harmony with one another, play the role of Lynn and her sidekick Aku to free the tormented souls stirring up trouble on the island of Inao. Go on a fantastic adventure through this mysterious and supernatural land, and meet its colourful inhabitants in order to lift the veil on what is disrupting the world.

The game is currently confirmed to be coming to PC, iOS & Android, and the team at Bloomylight are currently looking into launching a crowd-funding campaign to help finish development in time for a 2015 release date. Do you consider yourself a fan of Miyamoto or Miyazaki? If you like to see this game on the Wii U eShop let the developer know by email, Twitter or Facebook.
