Nestled in amongst the official Fact Sheet released yesterday for Bayonetta 2 was a nice little nugget of information pertaining to a two player online co-operative mode previously unannounced.
The Fact Sheet states, that players can “team up with a friend” in a mode known as Tag Climax. No additional details about this mode have yet been released. The game will also feature an online mutli-player mode, billed as “online quick matches”. Players will be able to wager the in-game currency called Halos, and should you win, you can spend your winnings in the story mode to buy new weapons, techniques and accessories.
Earlier we shared new details about both Bayonetta games coming to the Wii U, including how the first one will be physical release only, run at 60 frames per second and also feature Nintendo themed costumes such as Link and Samus. We also detailed the control scheme for the new game, as well as a few new details about the new elements found in the title.
Bayonetta 2 is scheduled to launch exclusively for the Wii U & Wii U eShop towards the end of the year. For the latest information stay tuned to Nintendo Enthusiast.
