Excluding the depths of your wallet

After completing development back in March and getting approved by Nintendo last week, EnjoyUp Games, the guys who brought to you Little Red Riding Hood’s Zombie BBQ, 99Bullets, and LA-MULANA, has now moved to announce today that Abyss will be released on Thursday, May 1st, 2014 on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U, all for the wallet-friendly price of $1.99.

Abyss takes place on planet Earth in the year 3024, where natural resources are scarce and the survival of the human race is in danger. Desperate to find new energy resources, the ASAN research team creates Nep2no: a biomechanical robot capable of withstanding extreme depths in the hope of finding new energy sources.

After many years of exploration, a new energy source is found: codenamed ‘Gaia’.

Your mission will be to find the ‘Gaia’ energy stones by exploring the depths. To do so, you must control Nep2no by counteracting gravity and the surrounding darkness with the aid of a light – however, that light goes out little by little.

The game is set to feature 12 original missions plus 8 extra ones in Dark mode, a competitive two-player mode, updated graphic effects and remixed music, and Off-TV Mode.
