Wreck-It Ralph was a well-received film, and the gaming community especially embraced it for including actual classic video game characters like Zangief and Bowser. It looks like the sequel will be taking this idea to its natural conclusion by including the most legendary of all game characters–Mario himself. IMDB is displaying that Mario will be in Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, voiced by none other than Charles Martinet, who has been performing the voice of the character since 1990. This is pretty exciting news if confirmed, and it could mean that we might see a brief Mario v. Bowser showdown in the movie, since Bowser was also featured in the original Wreck-It Ralph.
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is scheduled to release on November 21, 2018 in the United States. That gives you plenty of time to see the original if you haven’t already! I, uh, need to get around to watching it myself.
Did you see the original and love it? Or hate it? Let me know in the comments! Maybe it’ll motivate me to watch the movie sooner.
