Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you should already know that the Nintendo Switch has been a massive hit all over the world. It looks like the same is true for the system’s performance over in Germany.
Nintendo of Germany recently released a press release that was about the newly-announced Nintendo Labo project for Switch. This report also shared some details on the system’s sales in the region, which have come to about 600,000 since its launch about 10 months ago. This is more than any other Nintendo home console in history, even managing to surpass the Wii’s impressive sales speed in the same time frame.
This has been a trend in other markets too, such as France, Italy and the US. It goes to show just how popular the Switch is all over the world. Nintendo of France reported a few days ago that the Switch has already outsold the Wii U’s lifetime sales of 13.56 million, so it’s possible that the console is either close to or beyond 14 million units by now.
