The Nintendo Switch has officially sold more units in Japan that its predecessor, the Wii U.
According to the latest Media Create sales, current Switch units sold in Japan sit at 3,407,158 – that’s after under a year on the market. The Wii U, after its fifth year released, has only sold 3,301,555 units.
The Wii U was a flop in Japan, so it’s fantastic to see Switch overtake it so quickly.
