We already reported on the International Age Rating Coalition System coming to Nintendo’s eShop. It’s a rating system that allows indie developers to get a rating for all regions and rating agencies (like America’s ESRB and Europe’s PEGI) by submitting just one form, thus saving them time and money from having to get rated by all the different rating agencies in all the different countries.
And it looks like it’s gone live for the eShop. While there has been no official announcement from IARC, several developers have confirmed that this is the case, including ZenFa Productions, and IARC now lists Wii U on its official site. This means Nindies can release worldwide easier and cheaper from now on. You can check out a trailer explaining IARC below.
