DigiPen is a leader in game development education, and Nintendo has realized this and found a way to make it benefit them. Nintendo and DigiPen have teamed up to launch DigiPen Game Studios, a game studio company in Singapore. The goal of DigiPen Game Studios is to work with game developers and third-party companies in Singapore and bring and create titles for the 3DS.
DigiPen Game Studios is hoping to have 10 3DS releases next year. No word was given on the Wii U development-side of things, but there is a chance that they will end up spreading out to other platforms. It will be very interesting to see what games come from DigiPen Game Studios.
