The campaign for Earthlock: Festival of Magic is off to a fantastic start, already passing the $40,000 mark in just a matter of days! Snowcastle Games have just released the second update on their Kickstarter page.
We have passed $40,000 in just 3 days!
Thank you so much for believing in us! It really makes all the difference in the world. We are so proud to already have come so far towards the goal of this campaign.
SnowCastle Games launched the campaign for Earthlock: Festival of Magic last Friday. They originally ran an unsuccessful campaign last year asking for $100,000 more than the new campaign. Thanks to a grant from the Norwegian Film Institute, they were able to relaunch with a much easier goal of $150,000, and they\’re already 30% of the way there!
You play the role of Amon, an audacious scavenger from a tiny desert town who becomes mixed up in conflict between a mighty empire and those who oppose it. As well as exploring numerous locations such as deep oceans and snow-buried lands, you will also be tasked with rebuilding yourisland base, harvesting seeds and recruiting team members.
As previously mentioned, this game’s battles are turn-based in nature, but by no means does that mean they have to be ordinary. One of the features are that your group is formed of pairs, each pair consists of a warrior and a protector. As you might expect, the warrior uses consumables such as ammunition and the protector casts healing and shield spells.
Will you be following my example and make a pledge?
